Sensory Cocktail Bar

The Center for Everything

Sensory Cocktails combine sight, sound, smell, taste and touch into an immersive, intimate and personal experience. They are madness, love, life lived to the full with all of your six senses, they are finding a lost friend and absurd peace.

Sensory Cocktail Bar was originally created for the Cultural Capital of Europe Turku 2011. The bar has since been organised in various contexts, such as, a workshop and performance for young people, a tool to teach immersive performance to professional performing artists, and as part of Flow Festival, the largest pop festival taking place around Helsinki.

The Center for Everything is a performing arts company that was founded in 2015. It continues the artistic work that has previously been realised under the names The Lost City Inc. and Experience Parks. The artistic actions of the group emerge from performing arts but aim to challenge habitual art practices through creating diverse audience relationships, combining art and science, mixing art and technology, and developing artistically challenging game design.

Sami Henrik Haapala is a Finnish actor, dancer, live art maker and DJ. He is also a doctoral candidate in artistic research at the Performing Arts Research Centre of the Theatre Academy of the University of the Arts Helsinki.
